Redwood Bar & Kitchen is a Caribbean and Mediterranean fusion restaurant in Hollywood, Florida, serving customers unique flavors. Instead of closing after dining and asking customers to go away, we have introduced an event, After Dark, which opens at 10:00 PM and closes at 2:00 AM.

At After Dark, we provide Mediterranean and Caribbean food fusion, including flavorful, small, and shareable bites with a live Jazz background. We are closed every Monday, as mentioned in our previous After Dark guide. This guide is prepared to inform you about the Med and Carib fusion menu of After Dark.

Mediterranean & Caribbean Food Ideas to Try at Redwood After Dark

We are famous for our Med & Carib fusion to serve a delicious food experience to our customers. However, we introduced drinks and small bites alongside Med and Carib food at After Dark.

Although we don’t offer a complete menu at After Dark, we chose our 10 best dishes to serve after 10:00 PM. Have a lovely night with your friends, family, and loved ones in the romantic atmosphere of Hollywood while enjoying our After Dark menu.

1. Akra

Akra is a Caribbean-inspired appetizer made with mini malanga fritters, aromatic herbs, and Redwood’s special watercress sauce. At $16, it offers something different from the usual fried starters, especially if you want to try one of Redwood's Caribbean flavors.

2. Bruschetta

Our Bruschetta combines garden tomatoes, olives, and cured anchovies. In just $15, it is one of the more affordable starters, which brings a Mediterranean touch to the restaurant's Caribbean and Mediterranean fusion menu.

3. Chicken Wings

The Chicken Wings cost $16 and come with your choice of Buffalo, Jerk, Lemon Pepper, or Sweet Chili flavor, which adds a settling flavor to your food. Our Jerk option gives the classic wings a Caribbean-inspired twist, while the other sauces offer more familiar choices.

4. Calamari Fritti

Calamari Fritti is our specially prepared dish with New Zealand’s wild calamari that is served with lemon, sriracha aioli, and marinara sauce. It sits slightly higher in price than the other appetizers but gives you a seafood starter with a combination of crispy and tangy flavors.

5. Mofongo

Mofongo is one of the more distinctly Caribbean dishes at Redwood. We serve it with an open-face green plantain preparation and pork belly glaze and kimchi pikliz slaw. The dish is priced at $19, which makes it one of the restaurant's more substantial appetizer options.

6. Spare Ribs

Our Spare Ribs are $16 and come with slow-braised pork ribs with the restaurant's tangy BBQ sauce with a little crisp. If you're looking for a hearty appetizer without moving into the higher-priced entrées, then we recommend this as it’s one of our best options.

7. Ceviche

We make Ceviche with white fish, cured onion, cilantro, jalapeno, and lime zest and costs you just $17. This is our restaurant’s unique combination that gives it a fresh, citrus-forward taste that works best as a lighter seafood starter.

8. Jerk Chicken Penne

At After Dark, we serve Jerk Chicken Penne which costs you around $23. This dish combines grape tomatoes and shaved garlic with a light cream jerk sauce. Such combination brings Caribbean jerk seasoning into a pasta dish and a little variety to the table.

9. Redwood Burger

Redwood Burger is our signature dish that comes with cheddar cheese, bacon, guava BBQ sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, and fries, and costs you just around $24. The guava BBQ sauce gives this burger a distinctive flavor compared with a more traditional burger, while the fries round out the meal.

10. Lamb Chops

The Lamb Chops are priced at $38 for three pieces. They are open-flame grilled and finished with a lemongrass soy glaze. There is also a four-piece option for $45, which gives diners the choice to increase the portion for an additional $7.
